About: Hello, I'm Angie! I have resided in three of the United States' largest cities: Philadelphia, New York, and Los Angeles, and "the world's most isolated city", Perth, Western Australia, while making my way around the world as a travel industry insider and media junkie.
I studied Film & Video at Drexel University before infiltrating the NYC television production scene. I created programming for MTV/MTV2, Vh1, Bravo, TLC, Court TV, Fox Cable Networks and more. An overseas trip to Italy reignited my true love for travel. I took a hiatus from the television industry to lead 2-3 week, overland tours of North America for two years, live abroad, execute an 8-month, 4-continent, round-the-world trip and get familiar with the far corners of the planet. My current goal is to bring our beautiful planet to you, by creating informative, exciting and tourism-inspired content for web.
In Los Angeles, I worked alongside journalists at hyperlocal news site, Patch.com, wrote articles and shot photography for professional travel blogs and freelanced for commercial / television production companies. I unleashed my inner Samantha Brown in a short LA tourism video, with more to come! (Better audio, next time. I promise).
Now, I'm back in my home city of Philadelphia, where I continue to leave my mark on the world.
